Our Mission
St. Paisios the Athonite Orthodox Mission is a parish community of the Orthodox Church in America, serving Nacogdoches and the greater Deep East Texas region. Our mission is to proclaim the Gospel of Jesus Christ, worship the Holy Trinity, and cultivate a life of holiness, prayer, and Christian charity through the ancient faith and living tradition of the Orthodox Church.
Through regular divine services, the Holy Sacraments, Christian education, catechesis, pastoral care, fellowship, and charitable outreach, we seek to nurture a vibrant Orthodox Christian community rooted in the life of the Church. We are committed to strengthening families, caring for those in need, and welcoming all who desire to discover and participate in the fullness of the Orthodox Christian faith.
